Welcoming Dr. Sawan Malik, Board-Certified Periodontist, to Advanced Dentistry South Florida!
We are excited to welcome Dr. Sawan Malik, a board-certified periodontist, to the Advanced Dentistry South Florida team!
Dr. Malik brings exceptional skill and a deep passion for periodontics and implant dentistry. Growing up in a family of dental professionals—his father an orthodontist and his mother a general dentist—Dr. Malik was inspired to pursue dentistry from a young age. His lifelong exposure to the field helped shape his commitment to delivering precise, patient-centered care.
A native of Orlando, Florida, Dr. Malik earned his bachelor’s degree in Micro and Molecular Biology from the University of Central Florida. He went on to attend Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida, where he graduated at the top of his class with a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD). Dr. Malik then completed an additional three years of specialty training in periodontology and dental implants at NSU. Today, he also serves as an adjunct clinical professor at NSU’s College of Dental Medicine, helping mentor the next generation of dental professionals.
