2026 FAU Police Annual Awards Ceremony

2026 FAU Police Annual Awards Ceremony

Advanced Dentistry South Florida was honored to celebrate an event that highlighted extraordinary leadership and service within our community. We extend congratulations to Ric Bradshaw for receiving the Distinguished Life Service Award.

As we celebrate the achievements of the various awards, this has all been made possible through the remarkable work and leadership of Chief Sean Brammer.

The Florida Atlantic Police Department plays a vital role in enhancing the safety and quality of life for all students, faculty, staff, and visitors across FAU’s campuses. As a full-service law enforcement agency, FAU PD provides 24-hour protection and services to the University’s more than 30,000 students, faculty, and staff. Their primary area of operations — the Boca Raton campus — spans more than 800 acres and includes over 50 buildings, making it a dynamic and complex environment that requires constant vigilance and coordination.

Beyond Boca Raton, FAU PD also serves the University’s partner campuses, including MacArthur, Harbor Branch, Davie, and SeaTech. Protecting multiple campuses with diverse populations and needs requires not only manpower, but strategic planning, innovative practices, and strong leadership.

Under the guidance of Chief Sean Brammer, the department continues to operate with a clear mission: to provide a safe environment for the academic community through proactive and innovative law enforcement services, paired with meaningful community engagement. This approach goes beyond responding to incidents — it emphasizes crime prevention, partnership with the University community, and a visible presence that builds trust.

Chief Brammer has cultivated a high-caliber organization grounded in professionalism and accountability. The department’s vision reflects a commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards while continually assessing and adapting to the evolving needs of the campus community. Ongoing training, operational efficiency, and a dedication to excellence ensure that FAU PD remains prepared for any situation.

What truly sets the department apart are the values they embody every day: Compassion, Integrity, Service, Commitment, Respect, Accountability, and Professionalism. These are not just words — they are principles reflected in every patrol, every response, and every interaction with students and staff.

During the awards ceremony, many members of FAU PD received well-deserved recognition for their dedication and outstanding performance. These honors represent countless hours of preparation, sacrifice, and service — much of it performed quietly behind the scenes. From emergency response to community outreach initiatives, their work strengthens the foundation of safety that allows Florida Atlantic University to thrive.

Collaboration with agencies such as the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office further reinforces a unified commitment to public safety throughout our region. Strong partnerships like these ensure that both the campus and surrounding communities remain protected and supported.

At Advanced Dentistry South Florida, we have proudly supported the FAU Police Department for many years. They are not just public servants — they are part of our family. We are deeply grateful for the leadership of Chief Brammer and the unwavering dedication of every officer and staff member who works tirelessly to safeguard our community.

To the FAU Police Department: thank you for your service, your professionalism, and your steadfast commitment to keeping our campuses safe. Your impact is felt every single day.
