What to Expect at your Next Dental Appointment
The COVID-19 pandemic has changed a lot of things about our day-to-day lives, including dental appointments. Your health and safety are as important to us as they are to you. Every concern you?ve had, we?ve had too. As your dentists, we have reviewed all of the expert guidance and research to make sure we?re taking every measure to keep patients and staff safe.
Here?s what you can expect in our office:
We have always practiced the highest levels of sterilization protocols in our office and our team has advanced training on OSHA and CDC guidelines.? We have state of the art instrument washers and five heat sterilizers.? All of these are monitored over the internet by the manufacturer to ensure they are operating at optimum efficiency.
In addition, we have increased safety measures including specialized medical histories with COVID-19 questionnaires, the ability to complete all paperwork, insurance and payments online.? All doors are open and there are motion sensors for the lights so there is nothing to touch while in the office.
Our team is healthy!? ?Patient’s health is pre-screened and temperatures are taken before entry at the door.? Patients can text upon arrival so they can be taken immediately back to their treatment room.
Our very spacious reception area has been sectioned off utilizing social distancing guidelines.? No more magazines, snacks or coffee in the reception area for now.
As always, our team will be wearing personal protective equipment and we are further sterilizing our environment with specialized fogging technology.? We have added additional high volume evacuation systems in the treatment rooms.
Barrier protection between the patients and our business team at the front desk has been added as well.
We are confident there will be more changes in safety, protection and technology going forward as we remain abreast of all regulations and recommendations. We have a warm, safe, and sterile environment with highly trained, caring individuals to deliver the excellent care you deserve.
A Guide has been prepared specifically for our office in accordance with the American Dental Association.
