Our Doctors and Team at Advanced Dentistry care about YOU and do not want you to have to leave your home unless absolutely necessary. We understand that many of our patients are considered high risk and we want to help reduce any exposure!
We are privileged to be able to provide a new service called Teledentistry.
What is Teledentistry?
Teledentistry is a new field of dentistry that provides real time video conferencing or sending photographs via the web/cell phone and having a consultation with a dentist from the comfort of your home!
What Can a Dentist Do on a Video Call?
The first part of determining what the concern may be is to have a conversation with the patient. The doctor will ask questions about what you are experiencing and how long you have been experiencing this as well as reviewing any medical concerns. If you have a video call, you will be able to show the doctor the area of concern. If video calls are not an option, you can send us a picture of the area in concern.
The dentist can discuss the possible options and best course of treatment available to meet your needs. In the event that you need to see a dental specialist or even come into the office for an appointment, this will be addressed also. We will work with you to make sure your risk is minimized as much as possible before coming in.
How Much Does it Cost?
Some dental insurance plans will provide coverage for this type of service, but if not- don’t worry. The Teledentistry fee is only $95. The patient is responsible to pay the $95 before the virtual appointment. This payment is non-refundable.
How Will the Doctor Have My Information?
Before your scheduled virtual appointment, all of the forms are completed online along with payment. The forms are uploaded through a secure portal and the dentist will have all of your pertinent information before the virtual appointment. The forms are located here.
The following forms must be completed before your virtual visit:
1. Patient Information
2. Insurance Information
3. HIPAA Policy
4. Health History
Consent for Teledentistry | COVID 19
How Soon Can I be Seen?
We will do our best to accommodate your schedule and efficiently help all of the patients. Our number one concern is doing our part to ensure the health and safety of our patients.
